Google is using us to track us more closely.
I’ve been noticing these CAPTCHAs with photos of numbers (that look like house numbers) on websites that usethe reCAPTCHA service (that Google bought a few years ago). My guess is that Google is using the service to make sure they are registering the correct street numbers on Google Maps (Street View).

I wanted to check out the trailer for the Total Recall remake with Colin Farrell and I got this message. I guess you can learn something from this trailer… like how to kill 8 SWAT members by yourself ;)
Ads on Tumblr
Interesting… OK, I have no idea if this is a paid advertisement or if Tumblr just supports this cause (they have done that in the past). But this is definitely a sign that Tumblr could be getting ready to start offering this spot to companies/organizations that want to advertise to the Tumblr community.
Update: OK, they just support the cause. But still… at some point we could start seeing advertisements in that spot.

Hef ekki séð forrit biðja um svona mikinn aðgang að Facebook upplýsingum. En þessi vafri er þokkalega bundinn við Facebook - maður getur alveg helling beint úr vafranum (skoðað news feed, chat-að…).
RSS fídusinn þeirra virðist vera frekar kúl. Kannski gefur maður þessu séns. Þetta er s.s. byggt á Chromium (þannig að síður líta út eins og í Chrome).

Þessi síða fær alltaf slatta af traffík þegar Tumblr er niðri… er að gæla við að gera eitthvað meira við hana. Alla vega uppfæra útlitið á henni (svo hún passi við nýju villusíðurnar hjá Tumblr).
